Pears are good for you. Very good for you. They have loads of dietary fiber and are a good source of vitamin C. Oh, and we read somewhere that when you combine pears with alcohol, their nutritional benefits increase a hundred-fold.*

Don’t want something too heavy to sip on? Try this, a light margarita accenting the pear notes of 1800 Select Silver Tequila with a colourful drizzle of liquour.

Ingredients

1 oz. 1800 Select Silver Tequila
.25 oz. Pear Puree
.25 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.25 oz. Agave Nectar
Splash or Chambord of Blue Curacao

Mixology


Combine the first four ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake and pour into a lightly salted glass.  Float with Chambord or Blue Curacao for a drizzle of colour.

*This may or may not be true. It should be noted that by ‘read somewhere’ we may or may not have actually read it, but rather made it up.
