Ian and Yvonne left corporate jobs in Canada in 1992 to become the innkeepers at the White Oak Inn\.   Yvonne's passion for cooking, and Ian's background in sales and PR and regarious nature made innkeeping a natural match\.   Ian has also been a professional drummer and continues to pursue his love of music by playing with local bands whenever he can, and at the inn's annual "Oakstock" weekend of fun, food and music\.  Yvonne joined with seven other innkeeper friends to form the Eight Broads in the Kitchen, who have published three cookbooks and teach cooking classes, give food demonstrations and offer consulting services on everything kitchen and food related\.   Even after more than 25 years in the innkeeping business we still love what we do\.
