Marc and June purchased Die Heimat Country Inn in July 2014\. They are happy to be back home in Iowa where they grew up\. They have lived in New York, Pennsylvania, Nicaragua and in Tanzania, East Africa where they were the country directors for Mennonite Central Committee, a relief and development organization\.

Marc is a mechanical engineer, a creative problem\-solver and extraordinarily skilled at building renovations and fix\-ups\. June was a teacher and an administrator\. At Die Heimat she loves hosting guests, cooking breakfast and learning about online marketing\.

Marc and June enjoy welcoming guests from many places around the world to Die Heimat Country Inn, which in German means “the home place”\. Marc and June hope that each of their guests will feel a sense of home and belonging at Die Heimat Country Inn B&B during their visit\.

Marc and June have three grown children\. They love to travel and spend time with family\.
