Gary and James purchased the Elms of Camden Bed & Breakfast in July of 2017\. Innkeeping was a second career for both\. 

Originally from Kansas, Gary retired from Corporate America in 2015 and James was a successful barber shop owner\. Their world changed in early 2017 when Gary was asked by a friend to help open his Bed and Breakfast in Natchez, MS\. During that visit he caught the innkeeping bug\. 
After getting James onboard for this new adventure the property search ensued\.
After exploring options throughout the country they both determined that Camden, Maine was the perfect spot\. During their first visit to Camden, they looked at five properties for sale but fell in love with Elms of Camden\. 

Soon after, they packed up their Subaru with their dog, Sadie and cat, Tinker, and headed for Maine\.

Elms of Camden and Camden is now their home and it is their sincere joy to welcome you to both\.
