They were always the ones to host family reunions & parties at their home\. Let's just say it was dire need of pampering\. Guy was in the beverage industry, and Jaynee worked at the University of Buffalo as an academic advisor\. They were both still working full time in Buffalo and had a friend/previous innkeeper work with them to create the inn\. Guy and Jaynee did demolition and clean up daily before/after their commute to/from Buffalo to quicken the renovation process\. It took approximately 1 yr\. to open with just 3 rooms\. They continued to renovate until all 5 rooms were completed, and then they proceeded to continue renovation on 2 existing apartments attached to the Inn; one of them being their innkeepers quarters\. Shortly after opening, Guy remained home to assist in operating the Inn while Jaynee continued working\. She then part time until 2017, when she formally retired from the University\. Guy and Jaynee had a lot of work to do in the yard, as it had been neglected for a long time\. Guy enjoys taking care of the outside of the Inn, and Jaynee refinishes and repaints furniture, sews, and decorated with many period antiques, but wanting to impress discriminating travelers with all the amenities they expect today\.
