I'm Serina and I’ll be showing you around my family’s farm\. We raise rare heritage breeds of pigs, chickens, cows, goats, geese and a bunch of beautiful but slightly annoying peacocks\.   

We started farming so that we could become healthier and more self sufficient\. When we started 15 years ago, we were absolute beginners and didn’t have a clue what we were doing\. There’s always more to learn but now we know enough that we help other people to get started on their own little homestead\!  

I’m excited to teach you about goats and how to milk whether it’s just for the fun of the experience or because you’re serious on wanting to pursue this kind of life\. Either way, you’ll leave here with new friends and knowledge and be more connected to nature and farming\!
