With young children and a tight budget, they rented small cabins for short summer stays in Falmouth\. Eventually, they rented larger houses in East Orleans before finally graduating to a house of their own in Eastham in 2007 which was their summer home and year long weekend destination for relaxation\. After careers in large Civil Construction \(John\) and Early Childhood Education \(Lisa\), an extended period of "Covid quarantining" at their house on the Cape convinced them that the time was right to realize a life long dream of owning an Inn and becoming permanent residents of the Cape\. They purchased The Tern Inn from Dan and Sue Edwards on March 10, 2021\. Our goal is to create an environment where people can enjoy the Cape while staying at a Coastal Casual location with some old Cape Cod charm\.
