Your innkeepers are Melody, sometimes Caroline, Pip and Fred\.

Melody was born and raised in Southern California but lived in New Jersey for the last 20 years, where she raised three children\. Caroline just graduated from UMaine and this may be her last summer in Bar Harbor depending on her job prospects\.  Melody’s other children, Chris and Katie, live in Aliso Viejo, CA, and Columbus, OH\.  Pip and Fred are the newest additions to our family and are the resident cats and rulers of all things\.

When they visited UMaine a few years ago while college touring, Melody discovered the joy and beauty of Bar Harbor\! A passionate traveler, Melody had never visited the same place twice\. But Bar Harbor is different – it kept calling her back\! And when it came time for a life change, settling in at Aysgarth Station Bed & Breakfast was an obvious choice – Melody loves the charm of the community, the location and the opportunity to serve others\.

And for Melody, it’s all about making memories\. Whether it’s through photos, crafting, cooking or exploring, she embraces each day as a new adventure\. We hope you will come see us and make some memories of your own at Aysgarth Station Bed & Breakfast\!
