Following his retirement from a career of college teaching in May of 2007, he began in earnest what came to be a year of serious remodeling and redecorating\.  The end product provides an elegant showcase for his collection of fine furniture, artwork, books, and accessories\.  And, he's excited that others are now able to enjoy the house, its furnishings, and the grounds\.
