## About
We both have a degree in Hotel Management and met almost 30 years ago at the Dorint Hotel in Bitburg, Germany\. We traveled the world and worked in different hotels in the UK, US and Europe\. We have always dreamed about owning a Bed and Breakfast\.
We settled in a small village in northern Germany where we got married and had 2 girls \- Janine and Julia\. Volker discovered a new hobby and became a Volunteer Fire Fighter at the local Fire Department\. In 2013 we decided to move to Cape Coral, FL, opened a Property Management Company and served tourists from all over the world while they were visiting the Gulf side of Florida\. Barbara joined the Volunteer Police Unit in Cape Coral for over 5 years and she also is an author for German novels\. In 2018 she renewed the B&B idea\. We started traveling all over the US to find our dream\. 4 days after the Brierley Hill B&B hit the for sale market in March 2020 we drove up to Virginia, saw it, fell in love and are now the new Innkeepers\.
