Hailing from the cold North of Minnesota, Chad and Josh came to the picturesque mountains of Western North Carolina, the charming town of Waynesville, and the majestic 135\-year\-old Yellow House on Plott Creek Road\. In October 2019, they packed up their belongings and their dog \(Harry\) and moved South\. They are passionate about providing warm and friendly service to their guests, and making each guest feel at home\.


Chad and Josh are humbled and honored to be the new innkeepers of this elegant inn\. They are dedicated to maintaining the classic character of The Yellow House while incorporating their passions for the outdoors, customer service, all things food\-related, and gardening and landscaping\. Chad and Josh are looking forward to hosting new guests, making long\-lasting friendships, and the short under\-a\-minute commute to work after years of battling snowy, icy and congested freeways\.


The innkeepers bring experience in property management, marketing, accounting, design, hospitality, and compliance\. Chad has worked as a marketer and product manager in the publishing industry for 15 years and more recently healthcare design and development for a Fortune 10 company\. Josh began his career as a respiratory therapist and has an extensive background in health care administration and health law working as a Director of Compliance for a mid\-sized healthcare organization\.
