You will have no lack of things to do, that is if you can pull yourself off the relaxing porch\. You will need a car in this part of the world if you plan to explore the area\. For guests meeting you at the property, they can get a bus into Monticello from Port Authority, or a train from Hoboken, or Penn \(via Secaucus\)\. All routes take about 2 hours, depending on the traffic and timetables\. There is a local convenience and General store for the essentials a five\-minute walk from the property, while in Monticello \(about 10 minutes\), there is a massive 24\-hour Walmart and Shop Rite for anything else you might need\. 1\. Reservations require a $250 security deposit not charged in advance\. 2\. Guests can cancel free of charge within 48 hours of booking \(please get in touch with us to process the refund\)\. You’ll be charged 50% of the booking price \(minus the service fee\) if you cancel more than seven days before arrival, and have no refund within 7 days of arrival\. 3\. Check\-in is at 3 PM\. Checkout is at 10 AM\. A later checkout must be requested and approved\. 4\. Smoking, parties, and excessive noise are not allowed\. Smoking indoors is subject to a $150 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages\. Please do not place your cigarette butts on the premises\. 5\. Commercial photography/videography without written consent, illegal activity, prostitution, and possession of firearms is strictly prohibited\. 6\.
