Castle Rock Cabin is a quick walk from hiking at Castle Rock Trail 1W03 and amazing views of the lake at the trail's summit\. Boulder Bay Park features kayaking and canoeing a half mile to the east, with seasonal waterslides and bobsledding on Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain a mile\-and\-a\-half farther\. Drive a short 3 miles and you'll reach the shops and restaurants of Big Bear Village\.
