Kids claimed the bunk room, adults have two king beds across two levels, and there's a covered deck waiting for the kind of evening that stretches longer than you planned\. Named for Jane Austen — who understood better than most that the best stories happen when the right people are in the same room — it's one of four cabins at Notestone Reserve, our family\-owned 14\-acre property in Laurelville\. \~ What You'll Love • The covered deck — plenty of seating, your own outdoor living room • Fire pit for the evening stretch when no one's ready to call it a night \(firewood on site\) • Personal hot tub off the lower level, covered for all\-weather soaking • The shared game room — pool table, arcade, 85" TV, and more, just a short walk across the property • Enough space that everyone has their own corner, but an open main floor that keeps the group together \~ Outside • Covered deck off the main floor with seating • Fire pit for s’mores, stargazing, and evening conversations \(firewood on site\) • Personal hot tub off the lower level — covered, so it works in any weather • Propane grill with tools \~ Sleeping • Loft: king bed • Main floor: kids' bunk room with twin\-over\-full, woodland\-themed • Lower level: king bed • Pack 'n play available on site — just give us a heads up\. We provide a starter kit of the essentials — 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels, a kitchen sponge, and trash liners\. We recommend bringing a little extra just in case\. \~️ What's Nearby Notestone Reserve sits in the heart of the Hocking Hills, close enough to hit two or three trails in a day and still be back in time for the fire pit\. Rock House — 7 minutes Conkle's Hollow — 15 minutes Old Man's Cave — 20 minutes Ash Cave — 26 minutes Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs, and the rest of the state park system are all within a short drive as well\. \~ About the WiFi We offer Starlink satellite internet\. In general it holds up well — most guests have no trouble streaming movies or music without issue\. That said, satellite internet is a different animal than what you're used to at home\. Video calls and long phone calls can cut out from time to time, especially on cloudy days when the router is working harder to find its signal\. We'd rather tell you upfront than have you find out mid\-Zoom\. If you're planning to work remotely during your stay, it can work — just plan for the occasional hiccup\. \~ A Note on the Setting We're in a wooded area, and while we stay on top of regular pest control, the occasional ladybug or curious spider showing up is just nature doing its thing\. \~ A Few Things to Note We're a small, family\-owned operation, and keeping Notestone calm and well\-kept is a group effort\. A few things we ask: • No parties or events, including bachelor/bachelorette groups\. And no glitter — it never, ever goes away\. • Only registered guests on the property • No smoking, vaping, fireworks, ATVs, hunting, or weapons • No commercial photography or videography without written approval • Hot tub: use the striped towels provided and keep the cover on between soaks • Septic\-safe: flush toilet paper only; no garbage disposal at the sink • Under normal conditions, our driveways are accessible in just about any vehicle\. Austen does have a steeper approach, and for that we strongly recommend four wheel drive or all wheel drive during winter months when ice and snow are a factor\. • Check\-in: 4:00 PM / Check\-out: 11:00 AM \~️ Before You Arrive All guests sign a simple renter agreement once you book\.
