Take a day trip to Asheville to explore its thriving culinary and art scenes and area attractions such as the Biltmore House and River Arts District\. Outdoor activities in the area include whitewater rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, and skiing and snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Area \(30 minutes\)\.
