This Queen Anne Victorian is located in Lanesboro, the B&B Capital of Minnesota\. Nestled along the Root River in the scenic bluff country, the Habberstad House is located on the south end of town along the south bluff\. Lanesboro is at the center of the Root River Bike Trail\. The town also provides fantastic fly fishing opportunities, professional theater during the season and many quaint shops and restaurants\. 

A step back in time, the historic downtown is bustling with activities during the high season, and features small individually\-owned businesses with no chain stores\. There are lots of art\-focused activities and cute boutiques\. 

The Habberstad House has five guest rooms, four on the second level featuring queen beds\. The third\-floor Amish Suite has two king beds and a stunning shower\.

Or for a private get\-away, choose our Carriage House retreat, with a king bed, fireplace, full kitchen and a beautiful spa bath\. Breakfast is delivered in an Amish picnic basket to you each morning\.

A scrumptious made\-from\-scratch breakfast features many family recipes and is served each day in the dining room, promptly at 8:30 a\.m\. Our first course features either fresh fruit or berries with yogurt and home\-made granola\. Our entrees are sure to please even the most discerning palate and includes pannekuken, quiche, or many other delightful dishes\.
