From the terrace you see the arch, the marina, the cruise ships coming in and the sun going down behind the point\. Four terraces, about 400 square feet of them, wrap the residence\. One has a private jacuzzi set into the tilework with the whole bay in front of it\. Another has the outdoor dining table and the grill, under a beamed roof, with a stone fireplace at one end\. The living areas were recently renovated and open straight onto the view\. Four bedrooms, all en\-suite, all with king beds\. One master looks at the ocean and has a jetted tub; the second looks over the city and the marina\. There is a corner bathtub set under a window with the bay in it — the kind of detail that sells a room by itself\. Total interior space is 3,657 sq ft\. Guests use the infinity pools that run down to the sand, the private beach area, the beachfront restaurants and bar, the gym and the spa, all behind gated 24\-hour security\. The rooms can take rollaway beds to reach ten\. That works well for children or for a group that does not mind, and less well for five couples\. Events are not permitted at this residence, and the community enforces strict quiet hours after 10pm with no loud music, with penalties for breaking them\.
