Like many Northern Michigan lakes, Silver Lake is currently experiencing lower water levels\. The water near our dock can be shallow, and some experience navigating shallow waters is recommended\. Guests are welcome to use the dock, but please note that water levels can fluctuate, and we cannot guarantee docking suitability for all boat types at all times\. If you prefer, we’ve partnered with a trusted local company that offers daily boat delivery and pickup from the nearby public launch \(just 3 minutes away\)\. This is an excellent choice even for multi\-day rentals—they’ll handle launching and retrieving the boat each day so you can relax and enjoy the lake\. We also have plenty of parking space in our driveway, should you choose to bring a bigger boat and launch from the public boat launch\. The shoreline near the home has natural vegetation and is not ideal for swimming\.
