Escape to this 2\-story home in a hip neighborhood near downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village \- less than 5 minutes to either\. Walking distance to the South Slope brewery district\. Enjoy all Asheville has to offer and "live like a local" in a modern house with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay\. This is a great home base for all your Asheville area adventures\!

This escape is ideal for a small family, couples, remote workers, and outdoor adventurers\.

You'll be staying in a bright and airy home with lots of windows and high ceilings\. All the windows have quality wooden blinds for privacy if desired\. Although the hilltop location affords a good deal of privacy as it sits\. Each of the 2 floors has its own bedroom and bathroom\. The upstairs also features the living, dining, and kitchen areas\. It's an open space that encourages mingling as you enjoy the well\-appointed kitchen and comfortable living area\. 

Kitchen \- fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal\. Some highlights include: a top\-quality gas stove/oven, all cooking & eating utensils, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher

Living Area \- includes a Futon couch that converts to a double bed, a leather recliner, and a 46" TV with FireStick streaming device\. The living area opens onto a large private deck with a gas BBQ grill\. Be sure to flip through the books on Asheville and surrounding outdoor adventures, and check out the selection of games\. 

Master Bed/Bath \- enjoy your vaulted ceiling perch with plenty of space for your stay\. The bedroom has a queen bed\. The bathroom is a large space with a modern rain shower head and a handheld and features spa\-quality towels\. 

Downstairs Bed/Bath \- private and very quiet with plenty of natural light and a walk\-out deck to the backyard\. Ample closet and dresser space for your stay\. The bedroom has a double bed\. The modern bathroom features a shower with a rain shower head and a stone floor\. 

\* Bathrooms include complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash and an assortment of "in case you forgot" items\.   

Laundry \- washer and dryer are on the first floor\. Includes complimentary detergent, fabric softener, and stain remover\. 

The space is ideal for a couple, a family with 1\-2 kids, or a couple with a single friend or two\. If you have two couples, you might find yourselves drawing straws or playing some other competitive game for rights to the master bed/bath\.  ;\-\)

You are able to access the entire house except for two storage closets and the garage\. There is free off\-street parking in the shared driveway area for a maximum of 2 vehicles\. Additional vehicles must park on the street \(also free\)\. 

You will get a code to enter the home via a keyless lock system\.

You will be staying in an ultra\-convenient and hip in\-town neighborhood that is very desirable with locals\. You are literally "5 minutes from everywhere"\!

The neighborhood itself is very walkable/jog\-able\. Hearty walkers can venture into the hilly surrounding areas and walk to Biltmore Village, South Slope, and Downtown\. If you have bikes, you can completely get around by bike\. Your host is an avid cyclist, runner, and outdoor enthusiast\.\.\. and glad to offer "getting around" tips and recommendations on request\.
