Dirt county road app 2\.5 miles long/heavy snowfall area\. We have a very steep shared driveway with drainage ruts, please plan for an appropriate vehicle\. Max parking for 3 vehicles\. No off site or county road parking allowed by local laws\. 2\.5 hrs from DEN Intl Airport take 285 HWY Not I\-70 traffic\. Great Room \(Main floor\): Vaulted entertaining space, mountain views on a treed lot, wood fireplace & gas heater, board games, Smart TV with streaming & DVD's/player\. Dedicated Remote Work space: Located in our loft with Starlink wifi \(Ask us about in\-cabin massages in the loft\) skylights, tree views, & additional sleeping\. Kitchen & Dining: Fully equipped kitchen, \(ask us about in\-dining add\-on options\) basic spices & oils, breakfast bar seating and extending dining table\. We also have lots of add\-on options with small businesses to make your stay one for the books\! Wildlife: Likely sightings of moose, deer, foxes, ground squirrels, chipmunks, minks, and bears\. Additional Info & Home Truths: Pet Policy: 2 well behaved dogs are welcome with no additional fees\. We provide pet supplies to make your pooch feel at home\. Our neighborhoods policy is to have dogs leashed at all times\. We have lots of wild animals in the areas like moose and bears which can be aggressive if felt threatened\. \~No smoking \~No Outside Open Fires: this is illegal in our county as risks of wildfires are too great \~No parties, we are in a rural neighborhood w/ year round residents \~ No AC: Open windows for cool mountain air year long, use the ceiling fan and we also have some additional fans in the closet\. Our Cabin is is at very high elevation \(11,000 ft\), so it may not be suitable for guests who have issues with altitude or mobility as we have multiple staircases\. Due to the rural location of the cabin, there may be unexpected power outages\. These tend to only last a few hours but are out of our control\. We are a family\-run cabin, we do our best to share our dream with you\. We provide a wide range of amenities but we cannot promise that all will be in\-use for every stay things break\. If you're looking for an all inclusive commercially run stay we are not the right cabin for you\. The driveway is shared between the two properties till the fork in the road\. It's a \.75 acre property or if you rent both properties for a larger party is 1\.5 acres\. Please do not go up the Skiers Right hillside or driveway unless you are renting both so that each guest can have their privacy\. Keep in mind these two properties are close together and noise allotments should be respectful decibels and times\. We are in a rural neighborhood with year round residents please be lawful of local laws and regulations and respectful of our neighbors\. I'm always available through Airbnb or my emergency contact listed information\. Sometimes my time zone and children makes a fast response challenging but I often respond within 2\-3 hours\. My partner and Co\-host Shaun watches messages and is available when I am not to oversee that any issues don't go unheard\. We have in\-person staff that live close by in the event of direct assistance\. Skiers Right Lodge is located in Placer Valley Subdivision\. It has a remote feel with large lots yet plenty of tree coverage to feel safe and private but there are residents near by\. Moose Creek, walkable in good weather, has some world class trout fishing\! A short drive takes you to some local trailheads where you can explore 5 of Colorado's 14,000ft peaks within 10 mins\. There are great historical and mining museums nearby\. You will need a vehicle to take full advantage of property and area\. Due to our peaceful location it can feel remote with the dirt county roads up to the Lodge\. Taxi/Uber/Lyft are highly unlikely\. There is parking for up to 3 vehicles\. 4x4 or AWD vehicle with snow tires or chains are REQUIRED during winter months \(Oct\-May\) Our property is our personal space that we feel honored to share with you\. We do use a 3rd party insurance provider \(Truvi\) to covers our home in ways Airbnb Cover does not\. It is at no additional cost to you but there is a form you will need to fill out that they will send you on our behalf\. They will continue to contact you until the verification is complete and failure to complete this will void the reservation as its required by our home insurance for short term rentals\. Our Lodge is at VERY high elevation \(11,000 ft\), so if you have any issues with altitude please take that into consideration and drink plenty of our delicious mountain spring water\! We do have stairs in the property one staircase is fairly steep\. We do also provide baby/pet gates for stair safety\. 4x4 or AWD vehicle with snow tires or chains are REQUIRED during winter months \(Oct\-May\) No exceptions\.
