You're at the base of Mt\. Tabor \- a dormant volcano with hiking trails, reservoirs, and some of the best sunset views of downtown Portland\. It's one of those neighborhoods where locals come for the food and stay for the quiet, tree\-lined streets\.

Coquine is the standout \- a James Beard Award\-nominated restaurant right in the neighborhood, known for seasonal French\-American cooking that consistently lands on Portland's best\-of lists\. During the day, their market next door does incredible pastries, coffee, and sandwiches \(grab one before a hike up Tabor\)\. Tabor Tavern is our go\-to for a casual burger, local beers, and pub food done really well\. Bellwether Bar is a cozy cocktail spot in a historic building with a garden patio \- great food too, not just drinks\.
