Nestled beside the iconic Split Rock and a seasonal creek, The Portal is a peaceful, off\-grid glamping escape set on 101 scenic acres\. Your spacious canvas wall tent features a cozy queen bed and overlooks sweeping views of the Pacific horizon, Big Bear, and miles of private walking and biking trails — including our signature Splitrock 5K loop\.

Just 3 miles away, the Santa Margarita River Trail Preserve offers even more adventure\. As one of Southern California’s last free\-flowing wild rivers — and voted the \#1 trail in San Diego County — this protected area is home to golden beavers, native wildlife, and the southernmost population of steelhead trout\.
