Gap Cove, just across the country road, is a place of seaside wonder where you can scramble on the rocks, hunt for shells and sea glass or all manner of little crabs and ocean life, or just go for a swim\. Put your kayak in or your stand\-up paddleboard and head to Straitsmouth Island with its paths to explore\. From there you can go to Thatcher Island with its twin lighthouses for more exploration or just enjoy the views of Bearskin Neck\.
