This unique property includes a 1 bedroom, 1 bath main house as well as a bonus “bunkhouse” with beds and a full bath\. This multifunctional home is 1 of 4 properties that make up Sunset Stays on Cayuga, a group of lakefront rentals owned by a family with a heart for hospitality\. Key features of Sunset Retreat include 2 separate living spaces, a covered year\-round hot tub, a lakeside grassy area with firepit, and a spacious lower dock area\. Please select the pet option when making your reservation\. \*Due to high demand, bookings that include a local event or holiday weekend are non\-refundable\. \*A note regarding location: Sunset Retreat is located approximately 3 miles from the start of a private, single lane road\. It takes approx\. 15 mins to arrive at Sunset Retreat if you drive the 10mph speed limit \(which we greatly encourage you to do \~\)\. You are driving lakeside the entire time past beautiful home after beautiful home, so while this could seem like an extra distance or inconvenience, we choose to take it as an opportunity to slow down and “enjoy the views” that beautiful Cayuga Lake and the quiet private road have to offer\. The road is well maintained through all seasons and easily drivable in any weather\. Additionally, owners Paul and Debbie live less than 20 minutes away so if you encounter any accessibility issues, they are close by and fully committed to assisting as needed\. If you need additional space, our 3 other rentals are located on the same road: “Sunset Oasis,” “Sunset Paradise,” and “Sunset Haven\.” “Sunset Paradise” and “Sunset Oasis” are next door to each other, “Sunset Haven” is 300 add’l feet down the road from the first two, and “Sunset Retreat” is further down the road approx\. a 10 min drive\. Renting multiple properties is an excellent option for larger groups\. The surrounding area has much to offer for exploration\.
