For modern comfort, we’ve added in\-room high speed internet, cable TV, and VCR/DVD players, and to become an accessible romantic inn we have added a fully handicap\-accessible room with a private porch and garden\. Many original details have survived the century and the house has been restored and decorated to preserve the gracious elegance of an earlier time\. You’ll find fresh flowers in your room and fresh Toll House cookies in the cookie jar\. You’ll find cozy robes and lots of movies and even hot chocolate at bedtime\. And you’ll always find a warm welcome\. Charm and luxury abound inside this distinctive inn furnished with antiques, bedroom fireplaces, and a well\-stocked library, but the Green Mountains also beckon, offering skiing, hiking, dogsledding, snowshoeing, and fly fishing, to name only a few\. Adjacent to the bike trail along the scenic Lamoille River which doubles in winter as part of the VAST trail, it’s an easy stop while biking or by snowmobile\. Our tea room in the library offers a full English afternoon tea\.
