Tormenta 101 Ground Floor Suite

Ground floor\. Three bedrooms\. Full kitchen\. And access to a private pool and rooftop that belong exclusively to guests of the Tormenta building\.

Tormenta 101 is the ground\-floor suite of a three\-story residential building completed in 2024, a short walk from the Marina Puerto Los Cabos\. The full building can be booked together with the floors above for groups up to 18, but 101 stands on its own as a well\-equipped 3\-bedroom home for up to six guests — with a location that puts the marina, downtown, and the Art District within easy reach on foot\.

Modern Design / Architecture

Of the building's three suites, 101 carries the most traditional Baja character\. Ornate wrought iron window grilles frame the bedroom windows\. A hand\-painted talavera tile border and hammered copper basin sink give the guest bath a distinct artisan quality\. One bedroom opens directly to a covered outdoor patio — a dimension the upper floors don't have\. Throughout: travertine tile floors, dark mahogany kitchen cabinetry, and a coastal art theme built around marlin prints, anchor motifs, and ceramic fish that fits the marina setting without leaning into kitsch\.

Living Spaces

The open\-plan living, dining, and kitchen area is functional and easy to move through\. A comfortable sofa anchors the living side; the dining table seats the full unit\. The bedroom with direct patio access adds an outdoor dimension that stays separate from the main living area — morning coffee, evening air, a quiet spot outside the main flow of the suite\.

Bedrooms

Three queen bedrooms, each with individual split A/C\. The room with direct patio access has the most outdoor character\. The arched wall niche in one of the bedrooms is a traditional architectural detail — simple, but it adds warmth to an otherwise clean, contemporary setting\.

Kitchen

Fully equipped with mahogany cabinetry, granite countertops, gas range, LG refrigerator, microwave, and full cookware\. The $50 grocery credit toward our online store takes care of a stocked fridge before you arrive\.

Pool & Outdoor Living

Tormenta 101 guests have access to the building's private pool and rooftop terrace — shared only with guests of Tormenta 202 and 303 if those suites are also occupied, and inaccessible to anyone outside the building\. The rooftop has a full bar, outdoor grill, lounge seating, and panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez, the marina, the city, and the surrounding mountains\.

Location & Community

Tormenta is a short walk from the Marina Puerto Los Cabos — sport fishing charters, waterfront dining, and water taxis all within easy reach\. The Art District is minutes away, with gallery streets, local restaurants, and mezcal bars along Calle Obregón\. On Thursday evenings, San José's weekly Art Walk turns the area into an outdoor gallery event with live music, food, and both local and visiting crowds\. El Ganzo, Crania, and the marina dining strip are also close\.
