Douglas Lake is a TVA\-managed lake with seasonal water\-level changes\. Water levels are typically higher in summer and lower in fall and winter, which may affect shoreline and lake access\. Stairs provide access most of the way, depending on current levels\.

\~ This property is located in the mountains\. 4WD may be needed during snowy / icy conditions, but is not necessary during normal conditions\.

\- Due to the agreement with our cleaning service provider, we are not able to accommodate early check\-ins or late check\-outs\. You may check\-in as early as 4 pm and must check out by 10 am\.  

\- For your convenience we supply you with a limited starter kit of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent\. There are several shops you can visit nearby to purchase supplies for the duration of your stay\.

\- Please note that the hot tub takes around 6 hours to heat up\. So depending on what time the property was cleaned, your hot tub may not be hot upon arrival\.

\- Due to the rural location of this property, cell phone reception may occasionally be spotty\.

\- No RV or Trailer parking\.

\- Guests are responsible for providing their own firewood\.

\- The Fireplace is only operational from October 1 \- April 1\.
