Our family of 5 had a great time. Excellent location for us to see the island. Beautiful views and everything we needed was available at the condo. Kids enjoyed the pool and my husband and I loved the walks on the beach. Everyone enjoyed snorkeling right off the beach. 

We have been going to Hono Kai Resort for our winter months for many years . Rosemary is the agent for Destination. She is the reason we keep coming back. Whatever you need she makes it happen. We highly recommend Rosemary. Sincerely 

Been coming to Hono Kai together for 17 years . That kinda says it all. Sunny days , walks on the beach, life time friends, and golf courses within 15 minutes . 

Been coming to Hono Kai Maui for 19 years . Love the location to the beach and close to the small Harbour. The sunrises are beautiful . Highly recommend Destination Rentals and Rosemary. They are simply the best! 

A view from every window, the ocean at your feet, that's why you choose this condo. You will not be impressed by the interior. It easily classifies as "run-down". Worn out and rusty shower stalls (the upstairs one never got hot water), chipped tile, beaten up furniture, is easily overlooked because of all the units in the complex this one has three sides of windows for ventilation and views. Plan to bring everything. There wasn't even salt and pepper in the kitchen. No beach chairs or boogie boards (although we found a pair of abandoned ones by the trash and left them in the unit), one set of snorkel and fins. The condo is sufficient. Just don't come here expecting something really nice.

DESTINATION MAUI VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT

Booking Rules:
•A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation.  
•As renters, you are responsible for damages caused by you or your guests; these include damages to the unit, items within the unit (including towels and linens), and to common areas. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if any occur. 
•If, upon arrival, you notice any damages to your unit, please notify us immediately to avoid possible misunderstandings.

Supplies:
•Your unit is supplied with a starter kit which includes laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, tissues, and toilet tissue. Replace these on your own as you need them.  
•You are not obligated to re-stock the unit with any used items from your starter kit.  
•Your unit is also equipped with sufficient bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels and wash cloths. 
•For condos without in-unit washer/dryers, please use the laundry facilities on the 3rd and 5th floors to wash these items as needed.

Deposits/Cancellation 
•To confirm your stay, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is due upon booking; and you are given the option to choose between either of the following:
1.$39.99 damage insurance (covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage)
2.$3,000 damage deposit (refunded 7-10 business days after departure) 
•Your initial deposit will act as your cancellation fee if you should cancel before your final payment.  Your final payment will act as your cancellation fee if you should cancel after your final payment. Your final payment is due 60 days (two months) prior to your arrival date.
•We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through CSA Travel Protection.  If you are interested, please enquire with us before your final payment is due.
•If a cancellation is made prior or post your final payment, we will do our best to re-book the dates lost.  If we are able, we will issue a credit back to you for each day re-booked, minus a $100 cancellation fee. 

Garage Door Openers (lower level):
•$20.00 Refundable Cash Deposit is collected at check-in and returned at check-out.
Smoking:
•All units are Non-Smoking.  A designated smoking area are available on property.
•Any evidence of smoking within the unit or lanai area will result in charges, the minimum of which is $500.  
•Smoking/vaping/medical cannabis are strictly prohibited on the property except in designated smoking areas.    
Check In/Out:
•Check-In time is after 4:00 PM HST. Check-Out time is before 10:00 AM HST.
•Please remember to check in with front office during business hours.

Early Check In/Late Check Out:
•Due to strict COVID-19 cleaning and sanitation guidelines, we are not able to accommodate these requests. We recommend booking an additional night. Please contact Destination Maui Vacation at in advance for availability and rate.
