Life In Paradise Vacation Rentals was a small rental management company that started in 1985. During the '80s the competition was much different than it is today with only a few companies offering vacation rentals in Port Aransas. In 1990 Martha and David Dore purchased the business that consisted of 13 vacation properties. Martha quickly understood that in order to grow the business she would have to create a booking process that was more efficient than using paper calendars showing the bookings for each property.
