Ken and Paula purchased the Larch Pine Inn Bed & Breakfast in January of 2018. They have been hard at work restoring the Inn to its former glory; while adding many modern amenities. The restoration is most definitely a labor of love, their favorite part of the Inn is the location - right in the heart of Clear Lake, IA. They love life at the lake and love even more sharing the casual lake lifestyle with their guests. In April 2021, Larch Pine Inn was awarded the '2021 Outstanding Lodging Property' (rural) by the Iowa Tourism Office and the Travel Federation of Iowa. "We are both honored and humbled to receive such a fabulous award." At the same time, the community of Clear Lake was awarded the '2021 Outstanding Community'.
