We built the direct
booking marketplace
travelers were missing.
Because you deserve an incredible vacation, not the markup.
What we believe
Travel isn’t a transaction. It’s the dinner that runs too long, the morning you didn’t set an alarm, the trip that becomes the story you tell for years. We believe the best version of that experience starts with a direct connection between you and the people who actually care for the property. Not a platform sitting between you and your host.
Savvy is a direct booking marketplace built on that belief: professional hosts, real relationships, and the same properties you find on Airbnb for an average of $500 less. No markup. No middleman. Just the trip, at the price it was always meant to be.
That belief comes with a responsibility. Every property manager on Savvy is third-party verified, identity and business, every time. Because travelers deserve to know that every host they book with has been fully vetted.
Our story
Thirty years in this industry.
One thing he never stopped believing.
Vacations are where the best memories get made. The first morning your kid sees the ocean. The dinner that runs three hours too long. The night you stayed one more day because nobody wanted to leave.
Eric Goldreyer has believed that for thirty years. He founded BedandBreakfast.com. Co-founded TurnKey. Watched the industry grow and the fees grow with it. And through all of it, watched platforms insert themselves between travelers and the hosts who actually care for the properties, taking a cut and calling it a service.
He built Savvy because the best trips shouldn’t cost extra. And the memories you make on them shouldn’t have a markup.
The foundation was already there. bnbfinder had been connecting travelers directly with independent properties since 1998, one of the earliest direct booking directories of its kind. Eric saw something worth scaling. Under his leadership the focus expanded: more professional property managers, more inventory, a sharper commitment to transparent pricing. He introduced the technology to match, building direct API connections with the property management systems that power the industry. By 2024 the marketplace had crossed 100,000 professionally managed properties across the US. In January 2025, bnbfinder became Savvy. Same direct booking mission, sharper name, and a clear position in a market finally ready for it.

How it works
Direct booking, explained in 90 seconds.
The $400 you don’t spend on booking fees?
That’s the boat rental. The dinner you didn’t plan. The extra night you almost talked yourself out of.
On Savvy, every property is professionally managed. The price you see is the price you pay. And your host has every incentive to make your stay exceptional, because their business depends on it, not a platform’s algorithm.
We’re building a smarter
way to stay.
