The Craftsman Inn and Wine Way Inn are lovingly restored by owners Nick and Gillian, who fell in love with Calistoga’s charm more than two decades ago. After purchasing the 1910 Wine Way Inn, they soon set their sights on the historic Craftsman Inn just down the road, a grand old home built in the early 1900s that needed care, vision, and a whole lot of heart.

Nick left his career in high-tech to take on the restoration, learning the art of historic preservation one challenge at a time. What began as a simple project quickly turned into a passion, resulting in two beautifully updated inns where history and comfort meet.

Today, Nick and Gillian welcome guests as if they were part of the family, offering a relaxed, personal experience rooted in genuine hospitality. Their love for Calistoga and its heritage is reflected in every detail, creating a place where guests feel right at home from the moment they arrive.
