Welcome to the Bluebird Cottage, a charming two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage nestled in the heart of Weaverville. With its convenient location, you'll be in the middle of everything Western North Carolina has to offer. Just a quick 15-minute drive to downtown Asheville, and a short drive north to major outdoor activities like zip lining, hiking, and skiing. If you prefer to stay local, downtown Weaverville has plenty to offer as well, with Main Street boasting a variety of great eateries such as the famous Stony Knob Cafe, Well Bred, All Good, Glass Onion, and two breweries - Wag Bar (a dog friendly brewery!) and Salt Face Mule Brewing Co. Reems Creek Golf course is also quite close, about a 10 minute drive.

*Please note that while the property can accommodate up to 7 guests, we have a maximum of 5 adults for your comfort and enjoyment.*

The cottage offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 7 people, making it perfect for families or small groups. There is a queen bed in one bedroom, a bunk bed with a full-size bottom bunk and a twin-size top bunk in the other, and a queen-size pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room. The cottage also features a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal (except for food!), a cozy living room with a smart TV, and a charming reading nook/board game area.

The outdoor area of the Bluebird Cottage is equally delightful. Step outside to find a fire table area with wrap-around bench seating, perfect for cozy gatherings, a covered area with a hot tub and gas grill, ideal for outdoor entertaining and relaxation. Please note that the yard is not fenced. 

Guests have full access to the entire home, as well as the outdoor area with the fire table, grill, and hot tub, providing you with a truly enjoyable and memorable stay at the Bluebird Cottage. Come and experience the charm and convenience of this lovely cottage in Weaverville, North Carolina!

***A quick note about our pet policy; The pet fee is $50. Dogs only, no cats. We accept up to two dogs under 50lbs each. The dogs must be at least one year of age and cannot be left unattended at the property unless crated. For our full pet policy, please message us. If your dog is just outside of the weight requirements or you have more than 2 dogs, please speak with us because we are sometimes able to make exceptions.

We had a great stay at Bluebird Cottage. It was cute, comfortable, and cozy. I slept so well every night! 
The only thing I would note for future guests traveling with pets is that the property is not fully fenced. 
I don’t believe the listing stated that it was, but we assumed it was. It was our misunderstanding. Nevertheless, after the first day, we were confident in letting our pups off leash and they absolutely loved running in the huge yard. 
We enjoyed having coffee on the large porch and evenings in the hot tub. Downtown Weaverville was great for grabbing dinner. We visited downtown Asheville and went zip lining while we were there also. We had a fantastic time!

This was a perfect home for a small group or family. Very comfy cozy space with a spacious fire pit and CLEAN hot tub. Everything was very easy to use and the kitchen had everything we needed. You feel very secluded tucked away on the hillside. A long driveway and handicap ramp much appreciated. The front porch wraps around with many areas to sit and enjoy the mountain air. Exceeded our expectations!

PETS - Pets are permitted in rental units only with prior approval. $50 pet fee applies. All pets must be leashed at all times. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm prevention is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that humans or pets may incur while on the premises. &nbsp;
PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required upon booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date. If you are renting through Airbnb, the full rent payment will be due upon booking. &nbsp;
CANCELLATIONS – Please refer to VRBO/Airbnb for the cancellation policy for your stay.&nbsp;
MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel ninety (90) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to check-in.&nbsp;
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The quoted rate is for an occupancy of 5 persons 13 years or older. The maximum occupancy is seven (7) people.&nbsp;
MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a two (2) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than two days, the guest will be charged the two-night rate. &nbsp;
INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen &amp; towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.&nbsp;
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the units. &nbsp;
RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.&nbsp;
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.&nbsp;

STORM POLICY– STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. We do not refund due to road conditions. &nbsp;
TRAVEL INSURANCE – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase. &nbsp;
This unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.&nbsp;

4. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse.&nbsp;&nbsp;

9. If pet is left unattended it must be crated indoors. Pets are not to be left unattended for an undue length of time. Pet will not be left unattended on balcony, patio, or porch at any time (there are coyotes and other wildlife on the property). 
10. JCV Properties assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises.&nbsp;&nbsp;
