Welcome to Coastal Jetty Getaway, we hope to host you for your visit to San Diego! Please read through our detailed description below to learn more about the property and booking terms. 

This stately 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home is located at the end of South Mission with panoramic views of the ocean and bay. The beach, bay, & park are only steps away. The property has an oversize 2-car garage (SUV accessible) with 1 extra parking spot in the alley. The gourmet kitchen boasts a double oven along with a Viking gas stove top range. The large dining table can seat 8-10 people and there are 4 barstools at the kitchen counter. This is the perfect home for families to share. The large outdoor patio includes a Weber grill for BBQ's. Relax on the outdoor furniture around the fire pit while taking in the view from the second floor balcony. A guest suite is on the third floor which includes a Queen bed, TV sitting area, full bath and a cooking gallery. This is a perfect house for families to share. Come enjoy the playground of Mission Beach!

Level 2: Primary bedroom (king) with ensuite bath, guest bedroom #2 (twin and a twin over full bunk), guest bath, guest bedroom #3 (queen), and balcony.

THE LOCATION:
Mission Beach is a laid-back neighborhood whose 2 miles of sandy shores attract surfers, sunbathers and volleyball players. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the paved walking and biking paths that curl around Mission Bay, a popular spot for water sports and family beach days. Casual cafes and eateries line Mission Boulevard, the single road that runs between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay. This home is located in the southern part of Mission Beach and is kitty corner to the jetty where you can watch boats sail out to sea! There are two beach parks east and west of the home; South Mission Beach Volleyball Courts are famous for their tournaments and Mission Point Park has a playground for the kiddos! Nearby Belmont Park also has tons of dining and entertainment options for all ages in addition to the world-famous Mission Beach boardwalk and Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. With this unit being just a block away from the ocean and bay, you’ll experience the best of the beach has to offer!

2025 Construction update: neighbors are re-siding the exterior of their home. Please note that plywood is visible and construction noises may occur during your stay.

The city of San Diego notified us of construction on 8/22/25 of an ongoing sewer project. "This project will take place in various stages throughout your community and is expected to begin in the summer of 2025 and be completed in the summer of 2029."

BOOKING TERMS:
Per the cancellation policy, eligible cancellations may receive a full refund less credit card processing fees. These non-refundable fees are charged by the payment processor at the time of booking and typically range from 3.9% to 4.7% of the total transaction amount.  There is no grace period for Credit Card fees.  Once booked credit card fees apply and can not be refunded.

Primary renter must be 25 years or older. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, ZERO TOLERANCE.

Cindy’s house was beautiful and in such an awesome location. Very walkable and has multiple beautiful views from inside the house as well.

The house was beautiful, clean and well-situated in Mission Beach. It was perfect for what we needed for a holiday weekend stay with extended family.

Fantastic house and great location at the beach and bay.  We would 100% stay here again

I really can't say enough good things about this place.  First of all, Cindy and her staff were incredibly responsive from the time I reserved it until the day we left.   If I ever had a question or comment, they were there on the spot.  Second, the place was spotlessly clean, stocked with LOADS of bathroom towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, paddle board, wagon - everything my family (adult kids and grandsons included) needed for the beach, for cooking, for dining, etc.  Unlike most places we've stayed, there were enough plates, glasses, kids plates, silverware, for more than the number of people we had (10).  Everything was top quality, including all the appliances and furniture.  The location is delightful; close to bay or ocean, calm, lovely.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Positives: very close to beaches- but very busy street and lots of noise! On direct departing flights path from airport- jets flying low after take off from 6:00 a.m. to midnight- constant planes- exceedingly noisy! The house has cleaning issues- floors had not been scrubbed for months- with white socks the soles were literally black! Overall, the family likes the house but the patio cushions and patio deck next to Master Bedroom was filthy- lots of stains on patio cushions, not sure if we really wanted to sit, and the deck had not been cleaned for months! I don’t mean to sound negative but after paying over $14,000.00 for a week we expected better! Thank you! Parker Knox

THE PARTIES. This Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) made on {{reservation_date}} between the following:

THE PREMISES. The Host agrees to lease the described property below to the Guest, and the Guest agrees to rent from the Host:

QUIET HOURS. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM each night and continue until sunrise. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.

Security Deposit amount as detailed in the booking process. The Security Deposit is for the faithful performance of the Guest under the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Guest must pay the Security Deposit at the execution of this Agreement. The Security Deposit shall be returned to the Guest within the State's requirements after the end of the Lease Term less any itemized deductions. This Security Deposit shall not be credited towards any Rent unless the Host gives their written consent.

PETS. The Host does not allow pets: There are no pets allowed on the Premises. If the Guest is found to have pets on the Premises, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited.

SMOKING POLICY. Smoking on the Premises is prohibited.
&nbsp;

SUBLETTING. The guest does not have the right to sublet the Premises.

INSPECTION. The Host has the right to inspect the Premises with prior notice as in accordance with State law. Should the Guest violate any of the terms of this Agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately in accordance with State law. The Guest waives all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Guest shall vacate the Premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS. The Guest shall maintain the Premises in a good, clean, and ready-to-rent condition and use the Premises only in a careful and lawful manner. The Guest shall leave the Premises in a ready to rent condition at the expiration of this Agreement, defined by the Host as being immediately habitable by the next Guest. The Guest shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the Premises be left in a lesser condition. The Guest agrees that the Host shall deduct costs of said services from any Security Deposit prior to a refund if Guest causes damage to the Premises or its furnishings.
&nbsp;
TRASH. The Guests shall dispose of all waste material generated during the Lease Term under the strict instruction and direction of the Host.
&nbsp;
QUIET ENJOYMENT. The Guest, along with neighbors, shall enjoy each other’s company in a quiet and respectful manner to each other’s enjoyment. The Guest is expected to behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors with any residents of the immediate area. Creating a disturbance of the area by large gatherings or parties shall be grounds for immediate termination of this Agreement.
&nbsp;
HOST’S LIABILITY. The Guest and any of their guests hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the Premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. The Guest expressly recognizes that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Host may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Guest and that Guest should purchase their own insurance for their guests if such coverage is desired.
&nbsp;
ATTORNEY’S FEES. The Guest agrees to pay all reasonable costs, attorney's fees, and expenses that shall be made or incurred by the Host enforcing this agreement.
&nbsp;
USE OF PREMISES. The Guest shall use the Premises for residential use only. The Guest is not authorized to sell products or services on the Premises or conduct any commercial activity.
&nbsp;
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. The Guest shall use the Premises for legal purposes only. Any other such use that includes but is not limited to illicit drug use, verbal or physical abuse of any person or illegal sexual behavior shall cause immediate termination of this Agreement with no refund of pre-paid Rent.
&nbsp;
POSSESSIONS. Any personal items or possessions that are left on the Premises are not the responsibility of the Host. The Host shall make every reasonable effort to return the item to the Guest. If claims are not made within the State’s required time period or two (2) weeks, whichever is shorter, the Host shall be able to keep such items to sell or for personal use.
&nbsp;
GOVERNING LAW. This Agreement shall be governed and subject to the laws located in the jurisdiction of Premise’s location.
