OUTDOOR LIVING

Enjoy the stunning Black Hills and Mount Rushmore views from the front porch or the wraparound patio. The outdoor area is perfect for gatherings and includes:

- Gas grill for al fresco dining
- Dining set with seating for 8 guests 
- Basketball hoop

Guests enjoy exclusive access to the entire home, including all indoor and outdoor spaces. Each booking includes a unique keyless entry code for your convenience and security.

We do not live on the property but are available to assist with any questions or needs during your stay. Please let us know if you’re celebrating something special or visiting for a unique occasion!

The George House has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and sleeps 8. 

CHECKIN/CHECKOUT
- Check-In is 4PM and Check-Out is 10 AM
- Early check-ins or late check-outs aren’t always possible, as we often need the full turnover window if another guest is departing or arriving the same day especially with larger groups.
- If flexibility opens up, we’re always happy to let you know. Please reach out if you’d like us to contact you in case an early check-in or late check-out becomes available. If you’d like to arrive several hours earlier, we recommend booking the night prior (if it’s available) to guarantee early access and settle in at your own pace.

PETS 
We allow up to 3 dogs of 50lb each, for $75 per pet per stay. Pet Fees 
At the moment of booking, if you add your pets, the platform will include the fee for the first pet in the total, and we will request the additional ones afterwards.
If you’d like to bring additional pets, or larger than 50lb, please send an inquiry first for approval.
Other animals, including cats, are approved on a case by case scenario.


TRAVEL INSURANCE
- Guests advised to purchase travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances. Cancellation policies are enforced.

PARKING
Our driveway can fit 3 cars. Please be mindful of our neighbors and do not park on their private property. The empty lot across from our garage does not belong to us and we ask that guests do not park on it.

Hi! We are your welcoming hosts and we look forward to hosting you. This place is extraordinary and does require guests to complete a Guest Rental Agreement, ID verification, and Security Hold (which is not a security deposit and is allowable on this OTA) in order to receive Arrival Instructions. Details of the Guest Rental Agreement can be found in the House Rules.

Important: When cancelling your reservation, the credit card processing fees of 3.9% + 30c will not be refunded.
If booking with a credit card that doesn't match the guest name, you'll be required to provide a written authorization, photo of the ID, selfie, and card showing the last 4 digits of the credit card holder, or reservation will be cancelled.

Beautiful home in the Black Hills mountain range! Close to Mount Rushmore! House is cozy and inviting. Plenty of space for large families to be entertained!

Home was perfect for our family. Had everything we needed. Location was great, close to Mt. Rushmore. Nice and quiet, we got to see deer outside. Definitely recommend staying here.

More than enough room for our family of 5. My boys loved the garage setup and my youngest really appreciated the nook/hideout in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We even used the basketball hoop outside. My wife spent every morning on the enclosed porch drinking her coffee. We loved the location that allowed us to go to mt. Rushmore, Custer state park, wind cave, Rushmore adventure park, etc. Quiet street up the hill with deer, turkeys, and other wildlife to share the surroundings with. If we are ever back in the central hills, we will be staying here again. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here for spring break as a family of 6. Highly recommend. The house is actually more beautiful and clean and comfortable in real life than it is in the listing pictures- I feel like that is rare! We were so happy with the house and greatly appreciated the extra amenities like paper towels, soaps, shampoo, dish soap, etc. Amanda was very quick to respond and assist with a minor issue we had. She was very good at communicating. The house itself was perfect for our family with a comfortable living room, sunroom for morning coffee, play room for our kids (air hockey and ping pong!) and a “secret hideout” for our youngest kids in the cowboy room closet. We used this as our home base for our hiking and adventuring. We did the monuments (which were very close), Badlands, Custer State Park, Horseback riding with Andy’s Trail Rides (in Lead), Spearfish Canyon, a lot of hiking in all these places!, etc. This was a perfect location for all our activities. Loved her guidebook too!

THE PARTIES. This Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) made on {{reservation_date}} between the following:

THE PREMISES. The Host agrees to lease the described property below to the Guest, and the Guest agrees to rent from the Host:

QUIET HOURS. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM each night and continue until sunrise. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.

Security Deposit amount as detailed in the booking process. The Security Deposit is for the faithful performance of the Guest under the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Guest must pay the Security Deposit at the execution of this Agreement. The Security Deposit shall be returned to the Guest within the State's requirements after the end of the Lease Term less any itemized deductions. This Security Deposit shall not be credited towards any Rent unless the Host gives their written consent.
&nbsp;
PETS. The Host does not allow pets: There are no pets allowed on the Premises. If the Guest is found to have pets on the Premises, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited.
&nbsp;
SMOKING POLICY. Smoking on the Premises is prohibited.
&nbsp;

SUBLETTING. The guest does not have the right to sublet the Premises.

INSPECTION. The Host has the right to inspect the Premises with prior notice as in accordance with State law. Should the Guest violate any of the terms of this Agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately in accordance with State law. The Guest waives all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Guest shall vacate the Premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS. The Guest shall maintain the Premises in a good, clean, and ready-to-rent condition and use the Premises only in a careful and lawful manner. The Guest shall leave the Premises in a ready to rent condition at the expiration of this Agreement, defined by the Host as being immediately habitable by the next Guest. The Guest shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the Premises be left in a lesser condition. The Guest agrees that the Host shall deduct costs of said services from any Security Deposit prior to a refund if Guest causes damage to the Premises or its furnishings.
&nbsp;
TRASH. The Guests shall dispose of all waste material generated during the Lease Term under the strict instruction and direction of the Host.
&nbsp;
QUIET ENJOYMENT. The Guest, along with neighbors, shall enjoy each other’s company in a quiet and respectful manner to each other’s enjoyment. The Guest is expected to behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors with any residents of the immediate area. Creating a disturbance of the area by large gatherings or parties shall be grounds for immediate termination of this Agreement.
&nbsp;
HOST’S LIABILITY. The Guest and any of their guests hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the Premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. The Guest expressly recognizes that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Host may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Guest and that Guest should purchase their own insurance for their guests if such coverage is desired.
&nbsp;
ATTORNEY’S FEES. The Guest agrees to pay all reasonable costs, attorney's fees, and expenses that shall be made or incurred by the Host enforcing this agreement.
&nbsp;
USE OF PREMISES. The Guest shall use the Premises for residential use only. The Guest is not authorized to sell products or services on the Premises or conduct any commercial activity.
&nbsp;
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. The Guest shall use the Premises for legal purposes only. Any other such use that includes but is not limited to illicit drug use, verbal or physical abuse of any person or illegal sexual behavior shall cause immediate termination of this Agreement with no refund of pre-paid Rent.
&nbsp;
POSSESSIONS. Any personal items or possessions that are left on the Premises are not the responsibility of the Host. The Host shall make every reasonable effort to return the item to the Guest. If claims are not made within the State’s required time period or two (2) weeks, whichever is shorter, the Host shall be able to keep such items to sell or for personal use.
&nbsp;
GOVERNING LAW. This Agreement shall be governed and subject to the laws located in the jurisdiction of Premise’s location.
