Drive out for a few minutes and you could be kayaking in the Hanalei River, hiking on seasonal trails along Na’Pali, horseback riding to waterfalls, or deep-sea fishing. Look out at the ocean for sea turtles, frolicking dolphins and humpback whales (in winter months). The shops and restaurants of the Princeville Center are just minutes from the house. It's just a ten-minute drive to the charming town of Hanalei and one of the world's best beaches. The Princeville Makai Golf Course, listed by the National Geographic as one of the five most scenic in the world, is just a few minutes’ walk from the home. A tour of the golf course will give you exotic and breathtaking views of the island. The Queen’s Bath, a natural pool by the ocean that offers breathtaking views of the Hanalei Bay, is a ten minute walk from the home. After having basked in the sun and bathed in the pristine waters, you can come back to the house which offers you all the luxuries of an exotic home and leaves you with a feeling of not wanting to leave anytime soon.

Throughout this elegant home are gorgeous wood floors and bright rooms. The spacious lower-level is inviting with its lush, tropical views, fine décor, and a well-stocked kitchen. The home also offers a comfortable lanai providing ample seating and dining with a large gas grill for cooking island delights. A great way to find and include fresh, local ingredients in your favorite recipes is to visit some of Kauai's Sunshine (Farmer's) Markets that are held each week day at a different town on the island. Please look for times and place in the Welcome Binder. Additionally, you will find fresh herbs scattered throughout the yard.

The upper level is well-equipped with 3 comfortable bedrooms, each having their own bathroom. The master bedroom has a private sit-out lanai where you can spend relaxed evenings or enjoy an early morning cup of coffee, overlooking the spacious back yard. The garage is well furnished with beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, beach umbrella's, snorkeling gear and even a wagon to help haul your beach toys!
There is a second full size fridge/freezer in the garage for larger groups.
You will find a full size washer and dryer along with an ironing board in the Laundry room.

Upon arrival back to home, after having fun in the sun at the beach, there is a private Outdoor shower (hot and cold) to rinse off sand before entering back into the home.

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental in Kauai. Host Richard and management representative Sue were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Their recommendations for local restaurants and activities made our Hawaiian getaway even better.The house was clean and ideal for our group of 11; there was plenty of space for both sleeping and gathering. The well-stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and the fantastic pool and outdoor area became our favorite spots to relax and enjoy the Hawaiian breeze.Many thoughtful extras, like beach towels, beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas, and bikes (even though a few had brake issues), made our stay even more enjoyable.Overall, we had an unforgettable time in Kauai and recommend this property to anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and a memorable Hawaiian experience.

State of Hawaii Vacation Rental / Short Term Rental Agreement.  
By booking this reservation you agree to the following standard and policies.
1. Property.   The Property is fully furnished and cleaned by housekeeping prior to guest check-in. The following amenities are included in the Property:

A starter supply of household cleaning and hygiene products may be available in the Property for use. Guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies and all food and beverages.
Hot Tub Disclaimer
Guest acknowledges that there are certain risks associated with hot tubs. Use of the hot tub is at the user's own risk, and Hale Aulani LLC will not be responsible for any injuries.
2. Rental Party. All persons in the rental party will be bound by the terms of this Agreement. 
3. Maximum Occupancy. Maximum number of occupancy is agree upon the unit specifications, unless the property manager gives prior consent. A charge of $200 per person per night will be assessed for each person who stays in the Property, in addition to the Rental Party. Guest will be charged without notice for additional persons staying in the Property and not disclosed to the property manager or Hale Aulani LLC.
4. Visitors. A visitor is an occupant of the Property who is not staying overnight. Any visitor staying overnight is subject to additional charges. No visitor will be allowed to use the common facilities, including any pools or hot tubs, when Guest is not on the Property.
5. Rental Period & Check-In. The Property will be ready for Guest's occupancy beginning at 4:00 PM on the Arrival Date and the Property must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the Departure Date, unless otherwise agreed by Hale Aulani LLC or the property manager. If Guest or any member of the Rental Property remains on the Property beyond the Departure Date,
Guest will be responsible to pay the rental rate prescribed in Section 8 below for the period of time between Departure Date and the actual date Guest and all members of the Rental Party vacate the Property. The Property requires a 5 night minimum stay.
6. Keys & Access Codes. Hale Aulani LLC will provide Guest with the lock box code which will contain the keys, which will unlock the front door to the Property. Guest is not allowed to make duplicate keys. A fee of $100 will be charged to Guest for failure to return a key or lost keys. Any attempt to access a locked area is just cause for immediate termination of this Agreement, forfeiture of all rent paid, and Guest will be liable for any missing items or damage.
7. Rental Rules & Restrictions. Guest agrees to abide by the following restrictions by the Hale Aulani LCC:
— Smoking is not permitted inside the Property
— Pets are not permitted on or in the Property
— Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 am
— In the instance of a private event guests are responsible for cleanup and damages — Garbage must be placed in the proper receptacles
If any person in the Rental Party fails to follow any of the Rules, the Rental Party may be asked to vacate the Property and Guest will forfeit all rent paid.
Additional Association/ Community Rules and Regulations
At all times while on the Property, Guests agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of Princeville Community and any other restrictions imposed by Hale Aulani LLC (the "Rules"), attached to this Agreement as Exhibit A. Guest will cause all persons in the Rental Party, and any visitors that Guest permits on the Property, to abide by the Rules while on the Property.
8. Reservation Deposit & Payment. A reservation deposit is required. Guest agrees to pay the rent and fees described in the reservation.
Acceptable payment methods are credit card, debit card, and bank-to-bank wire transfer.
9. Travel Insurance. In place of a security deposit, Hale Aulani LLC requires CSA travel insurance to be purchased by Guest at the time of the reservation deposit.
10. Cancellation. Guest may cancel the reservation at least 60 days before the Arrival Date, and receive a refund on the Reservation Deposit. Guest may cancel the reservation at least 30 days before the Arrival Date, and receive a 50% refund on the Reservation Deposit. If Guest cancels the reservation less than 30 days before the Arrival Date, the Total Amount Due will be forfeited.
11. Furnishings. Furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment, utensils, and any other personal property supplied with the Property must not be removed from the Property. Loss of any items within the Property or damage to the Property or furnishings will be charged to Guest. The Property will be inspected by the property manager after Guest's departure. All contents of the Property are the property of Hale Aulani LLC. If an item should break, Guest must notify the property manager immediately. Guest is not permitted to alter the wiring of any television or gaming equipment.
12. Parking. Guest may only park in the driveway of the Property. Any illegally parked cars may be subject to towing and/or fines.
13. Mechanical Failures. Hale Aulani LLC attempts to properly maintain the Property. While all electrical and mechanical equipment within the Property are in good working order, Hale Aulani LLC cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of electrical service, stopped plumbing, water supply, hot tub heating, air conditioning, audio visual equipment, internet access, cable service, or appliances. Guest agrees to report any inoperative or other maintenance problem to the property manager immediately. Hale Aulani LLC will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. Guest will allow the property manager, or a person permitted by Hale Aulani LLC, access to the Property for purposes of repair and inspection. Hale Aulani LLC is not responsible for any inconvenience that may occur and no refunds or rent deductions will be made due to failure of such items.
14. Acts of God. No refunds will be given if there is a storm or severe weather (i.e., hurricane, earthquake, forest fire), even if a mandatory evacuation order has been given. Owner will not be liable, or deemed in default, under this Agreement for failure to perform or delay in performing any of its obligations due to or arising out of any act not within its control, including, without limitation, acts of God.
15. Limitation on Liability. Hale Aulani LLC is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur to any member of the Rental Party or Guest's visitors while in the Property or on the Property. Owner is not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables belonging to any member of the Rental Party or any of Guest's visitors. Guest agrees to assume the risk of any harm arising from use of the Property. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL HALE AULANI LLC BY LIABLE TO GUEST OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR GUEST'S RENTAL OF THE PROPERTY OR USE OF THE PROPERTY. IN NO EVENT WILL HALE AULANI LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF OWNER SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
16. Indemnification. Guest acknowledges that the use of the Property by the Rental Party and Guest's visitors is entirely at their own risk. Guest will indemnify and hold harmless Hale Aulani LLC from any and all expenses, costs, damages, suits, actions, or liabilities whatsoever arising from or related to any and all loss of, or damage to, personal property, including injury or death, resulting from the use or occupancy of the Property or the failure of any member of the Rental Party or Guest's visitors to observe the rules and restrictions set forth in Paragraph 7.
17. Violation of Agreement. If Guest or any member of the Rental Party violates any of the terms of this Agreement, including but not limited to maximum occupancy, visitors and rental rules and restrictions, Hale Aulani LLC and/or the property manager may evict Guest and the Rental Party from the Property and Guest will forfeit all rent and security deposit paid.
18. Governing Law. This Agreement and all transactions contemplated by this Agreement will be governed by, and constructed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii (not including its conflicts of laws provisions). 
19. Amendments. This Agreement may be amended or modified only be a written agreement signed by both Hale Aulani LLC and Guest.
20. No Waiver. Neither Hale Aulani LLC nor Guest shall be deemed to have waived any provision of this Agreement or the exercise of any rights held under this Agreement unless such waiver is made expressly and in writing.
21. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the remaining provisions shall not be affected and shall continue to be valid and enforceable as though the invalid or unenforceable parts had not been included in this Agreement.
22. Notices. Any notice or communication under this Agreement must be in writing and sent via mobile text message or electronic email transmission.
23. Entire Agreement. This Agreement (and Exhibit A) represents the entire understanding and agreement between the Parties with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement and supersedes all other negotiations, understandings, and representations (if any) made by and between the Parties.
