Your guest portal puts everything you need in one place, including property details, local things to do, and helpful house instructions. You can also access the front door lock and control the AC thermostats directly inside the portal, making your stay smooth and stress-free.

Management:
Our property is expertly managed we’re committed to making your stay enjoyable and seamless. Our team is available daily from 9 AM to 9 PM to assist with any questions or requests. You can easily reach us by phone, or email. For any urgent issues after hours, we also offer a 24-hour emergency line, ensuring support at any time during your stay.

Family-Friendly: 
As parents of young children, we understand the challenges of traveling with little ones. That's why we've made our home as family-friendly as possible. We provide a Pack 'n Play with crib sheets, and there’s ample space in any bedroom for set up. We’ve also stocked kid-friendly cups, bowls, plates, and utensils, along with books, games, and puzzles for fun family time together!

Pet-Friendly Accommodations: 
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $325 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog

Pool heater: 
The pool requires a lot of electricity heat, so using this will incur a daily fee of $125 (Plus Tax). This will be billed prior to your arrival if you request it, please note we need at least 5 days to heat the pool and must be booked and paid for, for the duration of your stay. Our pool is closed and covered seasonally from November to April. 

Hot Tub: 
The use of the hot tub is included in your nightly rate, there is no additional charge. Our team will turn the hot tub on prior to your arrival.

No Adhesives on Walls:
Do not use tape, hooks, stickers, or any other materials to attach decorations or items to the walls, as this may cause damage.

No Glitter Allowed:
Glitter is extremely difficult to clean and can cause lasting damage to furniture and surfaces. Thank you for respecting our home and helping us provide a clean, welcoming space for every guest.

Pests: 
Corolla is home to midges, tiny bugs that are common in the area during certain seasons. While they are harmless and don’t bite at all, they come in numbers, so we recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible to minimize their presence indoors. Keeping the lights off at night is also a tremendous help. We also treat the area regularly to manage their numbers, but be aware they can still affect outdoor spaces. Bug spray but it is a great idea for enjoying the deck and pool areas. Snakes are also common in Corolla at times from the Marsh. If you notice one on property, please contact us and we'll have animal control come remove them.

Look no further! This is a wonderful option for your stay in Corolla. This was our second Christmas trip here. This house is perfect for large groups. It is exactly as described and pictured. Elissa, thank you for your quick responses and all your assistance. As you know, we were extremely happy to see a beautiful Christmas tree up in the living room. Such a perfect touch to our holiday stay in your beautiful home. The views from every window were breathtaking. The home is equipped with everything you need and more! Our family noted that previous airbnbs didn’t have extra essential items like dish soap, detergent, toiletries etc. we brought lots of our own but I was very impressed they had all these things stocked up on the home for us to use. The beds were super comfy and each room had its own special touch. There are lots of stores nearby. We loved taking walks around the area. We will miss watching the sunsets from every window of your home.  Would stay again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I invited our children and grandchildren to enjoy our vacation together. Four families, 8 adults and 4 kids had an amazing time together.  Elissa was great at communicating with us when we had any questions. The house was big enough for us all to be together as well as be apart when anyone needed to be.  House was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, cups, garbage bags, tp, soaps etc. Air conditioning worked great throughout the house. I would stay again.

I want to thank Elissa for always being available and answering any questions and being extremely responsive. Everyone loved the house and everything was as advertised.

Rather Be Properties, LLC Rental Agreement&nbsp;
This Short-Term Rental Agreement is entered into and made effective as of the signing date by and between the Property Owner/Operator Rather Be Properties, LLC and the Tenant {{guest_first_name}} {{guest_last_name}}. Terms not specified in this Agreement shall be in accordance with the House rules or the Reservation policies which are provided separately by the Owner to the Tenant at the time of initial bookkeeping, and prior to check-in date.
The parties agree to the following terms:
<ins>Accommodation Terms:</ins>&nbsp;
<ol>
<li>The Property located at: 978 Cruz Bay Ln Corolla, NC 27927.</li>
<li>The rental period will be valid from {{checkin_date}} to {{checkout_date}}. Any extension to the agreed dates of stay will have an associated payment for the said extension. The said extension can only be granted once terms have been agreed to by both parties, via an execution of a lease-extension contract.</li>
<li>Tenant agrees to the following check-in/check-out times: Check-in time will be at {{checkin_time}} on the day your lease begins, and check-out time will be no later than {{checkout_time}} on the morning of the last day of your lease, as listed above.</li>
<li>The tenant agrees to vacate the property promptly upon checkout at the checkout time on their reservation. Failure to do so may lead to a late fee up to $150.</li>
<li>The Primary Renter must be at least 21 years of age, sign a rental agreement, and provide a valid photo ID.&nbsp;</li>
<li>The tenant agrees that the applicable cancellation policy is the one outlined in the booking confirmation from the booking channel through which the reservation was made.</li>
<li>Tenant agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by local municipal code relating to Short-Term Rentals. Tenant also agrees to abide by all ordinances found on “Good Neighbor Brochure."</li>
<li>Tenant shall behave in a respectful manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement and Tenant shall then immediately vacate the premises.</li>
<li>Tenant acknowledges that at no time, even with written consent or otherwise, is NOT permitted to sublease the property OR rent the property on behalf of others. The Tenant listed on this lease agreement and in the booking confirmation is required to be present at the property for the duration of the stay.</li>
<li>Tenant agrees that Weapons, including but not limited to, Firearms shall not be allowed on the premises, regardless of whether or not a guest holds an active CCW Permit by any state. Tenant agrees that Fireworks and other hazardous materials shall not be used in or around the property.</li>
<li>Tenant shall maintain the premises in a good, clean, and ready-to-rent condition, and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner. Tenant(s) shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition.</li>
<li>Tenant is responsible for any breakage or damage costs (or related costs) in or to the property which are caused by the Tenant or any members of the Tenant’s party. Tenant agrees to satisfy any balance of debt owed to the Owner within 3 business days of the initial request by Owner to Tenant.</li>
<li>Tenant agrees to abide by all local, County, and State laws. Breaking of any local, County, and State laws are grounds for immediate eviction and termination of lease with no refund.</li>
<li>Tenant agrees that parking is limited to designated parking areas only; in the garage, on the driveway, or directly in front of the property. The property allows for 6 driveway parking spots. Street parking is not allowed.</li>
<li>Tenant must not hold events (such as parties, celebrations, or meetings) at the property without the advance written consent of Owner. Any of these cases will allow Owner to terminate the Agreement without providing a refund of any payment Tenant has paid for the booking and Owner will not be legally responsible to find any alternative accommodation.</li>
<li>Tenant must allow Owner or their representative access to the property at any time during their reservation in the event of an emergency arising, in which the Host feels that the guest's safety is directly at risk, due to such events as, but not limited to, a gas leak, a water leak, etc. Host will make best efforts to contact the guest prior to access, but understanding that the guest's safety is our #1 priority.</li>
<li>Tenant agrees that the outdoor firepit, BBQ (propane), and indoor fireplace must be used and operated by a responsible adult only.</li>
<li>Tenant agrees that the pool/spa may ONLY be used by children under the age of 18 with adult supervision.</li>
<li>Smoking is not allowed inside; this includes the use of cigarettes, vaping, and weed. Any costs incurred as a result of smoking inside the premises will be passed onto you as the primary guest on the reservation.</li>
<li>Tenant acknowledges that Owner and Manager are not responsible for items left behind. Manager will attempt to return lost or forgotten items within a reasonable time, and Tenant agrees to reimburse any associated costs. Tenant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Owner, Manager of the property, and their respective officers, directors, beneficiaries, shareholders, members, partners, agents, and employees from all fines, suits, procedures, claims, and actions of every kind, and all costs associated therewith (including attorneys' and consultants' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with any outdoor OR indoor amenity offered to the guest for use, whether at an additional cost OR being offered for inclusive use under the nightly rental fee, that occurs during the term of this Lease, at or from the Demised Premises, or which arises at any time including without limitation, any accidents or injury to the Guest, Guest’s visitors, and associates.</li>
<li>By agreeing to these Terms &amp; Conditions, as acknowledged by signature below, Tenant shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Owner, Owner’s Mortgagee, Manager of the property, and their respective officers, directors, beneficiaries, shareholders, members, partners, agents, and employees from all fines, suits, procedures, claims, and actions of every kind, and all costs associated therewith (including attorneys' and consultants' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with any use of the pool/spa, outdoor firepit, outdoor BBQ, and any other outdoor or indoor amenity offered to the guest for use.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>

Additional Policies such as Rates and Fees, Check-In/Out Time, Cancellations, Minimum Stay, Smoking, Pets, Maximum Guests allowed, Children and age, Security Deposit etc. will be according to the House rules which will be communicated by the owner.&nbsp;
