There are two king-bed bedrooms and two bathrooms with stunning walk-in showers, making it perfect for a family or a group of friends. Three split ACs and three flat-screen TVs with complimentary cable and high-speed internet ensure you have all the modern comforts you need.

But the real highlight of the condo is the beautiful garden lanai with breathtaking views of the ocean and tropical plants. Experience the comfort and charm of this beautifully maintained condo, ideally located for easy beach access and surrounded by tranquil grounds. With spacious layouts and thoughtful amenities, it serves as a perfect home away from home for both families and couples seeking to create lasting memories in Maui.

This is our favorite condo at Kanai-a-Nalu. We have stayed in several over the past 30 years and have brought our children and grandchildren there. Last year we rented three condos. This condo is comfortable and has been upgraded by the owners. We appreciate the AC, the comfortable bed. This time, however there were a number of problems. The master bedroom shower had no hot water. The refrigerator was running warm up to 50 degrees. We were unable to access Netflix. The ice maker stopped working. We appreciated Destination Maui’s prompt response that solved some of the problems. All in all, we have many wonderful family memories at Kanai-a-Nalu. 

The vacation rental company is great to work with . However I wouldn’t recommend this unit for six  people due to the lack of privacy for access to the bathrooms for people sleeping in the living room . They have sliding barn doors and the secondary bedroom has no privacy door to the bedroom .. not ideal for 5 adults and one teen 

This trip was the best we have ever had.I adore this place. Will be back as soon as we can.

We have stayed at Kanai a Nalu 17 times since 1996 and this is definitely a favorite family vacation spot.These 2 bedroom 2 bath condos work well for us, since we can all have our own space. This time we had 3 ground floor condos which made it easy for the young children to go between units.My favorite thing is early morning coffee on the lanai looking out at the ocean, watching boats departing for Molokini and this time many turtle sitings.Unit 114 is comfortably and attractively furnished. The beds were replaced since our last visit which was a welcome change. Additional lanai furniture added to our comfort.We love the layout and central location of Kanai a Nalu. It is uncrowded and very quiet for the most part. The grounds are beautifully maintained.Our only disappointment is that the stone steps leading to the beach and the sea wall were washed out in a storm about 4 years ago and have never been repaired of replaced. We heard that there are no plans to replace them. This is a drawback as you need to go onto the adjacent property and climb down some rocks to access the beach.One other drawback is the excessive use of signage around the pool area. I think that one sign posting the rules would be adequate. Every photo we take on the property features warning and regulation signs.One evening we were very surprised when another family arrived claiming that they had reservations for our unit. We still had another week of our stay. They had been given the passcode for the front door and just walked right in. The disconcerting thing was that the gentleman would not step out until he finally reached the management company after several failed attempts.

DESTINATION MAUI VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT

Booking Rules:
•A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation.  
•As renters, you are responsible for damages caused by you or your guests; these include damages to the unit, items within the unit (including towels and linens), and to common areas. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if any occur. 
•If, upon arrival, you notice any damages to your unit, please notify us immediately to avoid possible misunderstandings.

Supplies:
•Your unit is supplied with a starter kit which includes laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, tissues, and toilet tissue. Replace these on your own as you need them.  
•You are not obligated to re-stock the unit with any used items from your starter kit.  
•Your unit is also equipped with sufficient bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels and wash cloths. 
•For condos without in-unit washer/dryers, please use the laundry facilities on the 3rd and 5th floors to wash these items as needed.

Deposits/Cancellation 
•To confirm your stay, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is due upon booking; and you are given the option to choose between either of the following:
1.$39.99 damage insurance (covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage)
2.$3,000 damage deposit (refunded 7-10 business days after departure) 
•Your initial deposit will act as your cancellation fee if you should cancel before your final payment.  Your final payment will act as your cancellation fee if you should cancel after your final payment. Your final payment is due 60 days (two months) prior to your arrival date.
•We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through CSA Travel Protection.  If you are interested, please enquire with us before your final payment is due.
•If a cancellation is made prior or post your final payment, we will do our best to re-book the dates lost.  If we are able, we will issue a credit back to you for each day re-booked, minus a $100 cancellation fee. 

Garage Door Openers (lower level):
•$20.00 Refundable Cash Deposit is collected at check-in and returned at check-out.
Smoking:
•All units are Non-Smoking.  A designated smoking area are available on property.
•Any evidence of smoking within the unit or lanai area will result in charges, the minimum of which is $500.  
•Smoking/vaping/medical cannabis are strictly prohibited on the property except in designated smoking areas.    
Check In/Out:
•Check-In time is after 4:00 PM HST. Check-Out time is before 10:00 AM HST.
•Please remember to check in with front office during business hours.

Early Check In/Late Check Out:
•Due to strict COVID-19 cleaning and sanitation guidelines, we are not able to accommodate these requests. We recommend booking an additional night. Please contact Destination Maui Vacation at in advance for availability and rate.
