Guests consistently enjoy the idyllic location of the property, with its stunning beach, well-maintained grounds, and convenient access to local attractions. Many highlight the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations, contributing to a warm and inviting overall experience for their stay.

The unit wasn't bad, but it wasn't impressive either. We arrived to a very hot and stuffy apartment. Conserving energy is definitely understandable, but in a tropical climate it can't be expected that guests will be comfortable in a room that hasn't been climate controlled. The ac units eventually cooled it down, but then they want them turned off while you're gone, repeating the endless cycle of discomfort. The bedroom carpeting was in need of deep cleaning, the walls needed painting, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and when the ac had been off, the bathroom door needed a lot of force to close.  The bottom of the door was damaged, likely from repeated swelling in the humidity. The living room was comfortable, as was the bed.

We loved our stay at Kealia Resort 406. The condo had been recently renovated and was expertly provisioned with everything we needed. The view - wow! The grounds are small but pristine and the grassy courtyard was an added bonus. The resort sits on miles of beautiful beach which is great for walking and swimming. (Note: we found the water here really great for swimming but do watch out for rocks/reefs under the surface). North Kihei is an ideal location for island exploring as it is centrally located and it’s east to get to Lahaina, Waimea and Paia / Upcountry. Need a quick bite for lunch? Check out Dina’s deli right next door. 

Generally a pleasant stay. Couple of observations:- The Sugar Beach location is really a great spot - close but not too close to Kihei with a really excellent beach.- Units facing the "park" do get noise from the road. Not the end of the world but can be irritating in the AM with windows open.- Particular unit we were in was as per expectations and reasonably well maintained. There were a few little things (dripping shower, loose tile) that should be addressed which would have enhanced the experience.

DESTINATION MAUI VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT

Booking Rules:
•A credit card is required to guarantee a reservation.  
•As renters, you are responsible for damages caused by you or your guests; these include damages to the unit, items within the unit (including towels and linens), and to common areas. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know if any occur. 
•If, upon arrival, you notice any damages to your unit, please notify us immediately to avoid possible misunderstandings.

Supplies:
•Your unit is supplied with a starter kit which includes laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, tissues, and toilet tissue. Replace these on your own as you need them.  
•You are not obligated to re-stock the unit with any used items from your starter kit.  
•Your unit is also equipped with sufficient bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, dish towels and wash cloths. 
•For condos without in-unit washer/dryers, please use the laundry facilities on the 3rd and 5th floors to wash these items as needed.

Deposits/Cancellation 
•To confirm your stay, a non-refundable deposit of $200 is due upon booking; and you are given the option to choose between either of the following:
1.$39.99 damage insurance (covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage)
2.$3,000 damage deposit (refunded 7-10 business days after departure) 
•Your initial deposit will act as your cancellation fee if you should cancel before your final payment.  Your final payment will act as your cancellation fee if you should cancel after your final payment. Your final payment is due 60 days (two months) prior to your arrival date.
•We do recommend travel insurance and can offer you options through CSA Travel Protection.  If you are interested, please enquire with us before your final payment is due.
•If a cancellation is made prior or post your final payment, we will do our best to re-book the dates lost.  If we are able, we will issue a credit back to you for each day re-booked, minus a $100 cancellation fee. 

Garage Door Openers (lower level):
•$20.00 Refundable Cash Deposit is collected at check-in and returned at check-out.
Smoking:
•All units are Non-Smoking.  A designated smoking area are available on property.
•Any evidence of smoking within the unit or lanai area will result in charges, the minimum of which is $500.  
•Smoking/vaping/medical cannabis are strictly prohibited on the property except in designated smoking areas.    
Check In/Out:
•Check-In time is after 4:00 PM HST. Check-Out time is before 10:00 AM HST.
•Please remember to check in with front office during business hours.

Early Check In/Late Check Out:
•Due to strict COVID-19 cleaning and sanitation guidelines, we are not able to accommodate these requests. We recommend booking an additional night. Please contact Destination Maui Vacation at in advance for availability and rate.
