Magnolia House and Gardens started life as the private residence of the Sifford family in 1890, just 3 years after Clover incorporated as a town. Originally from Knoxville Tennessee, I spent 23 years working and living in Charlotte NC as a municipal arborist (aka Tree Hugger). But I knew a rapidly urbanizing metropolitan city wasn't where I wanted to hang my hat for too long. So I ventured southwest of Charlotte and found the wonderful town of Clover and this amazing house that was built in 1890.
