Start your mornings off with your favorite book and a cup of hot coffee in the backyard seating area while you watch the morning sunrise. Enjoy the refreshing pool and take some laps while the rest of the group hangs out nearby on one of three lounge chairs. Take in some sun on the tanning shelf with seating for two. Don't let your friends get hangry, your meals can be prepared on the natural gas rollaway barbecue, and you can enjoy your lunch under the gazebo and patio table with seating for eight. Challenge your family to a friendly round of the Classic Bean Bag Toss Game, and then move over to practice your putting on the four-hole putting green. If you think the night is over, think again. Enjoy your company and a nice glass of wine on the patio seating area and fire table with seating for six. Finish the night off in the hot spa; all towels are provided. The home includes the following amenities to accommodate the max number (14) of guests:  dining, cooking and serving essentials including plates, bowls, flatware, wine and drinking glasses, mugs, cooking utensils, pots/pans, and kitchen accessories such as can opener, wine opener, measuring spoons bar tools, grill tools, and more. Basic spices, salt and pepper, olive oil provided.

HOUSE SUPPLIES:
Your rental will be stocked with an initial supply of trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, laundry pods.
 
OTHER ITEMS:
The property is equipped with a specific quantity of bath and pool towels to accommodate the max occupancy of the home. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. There are also fully equipped laundry rooms with washer, dryer. Ironing boards and irons in master bedroom closet and secondary master closet upstairs.

THE Funhouse is in one of the very best locations, just off the "Golden Mile" Avenue 49, minutes from top golf resorts, restaurants, and shopping in La Quinta, just around the corner from the Empire Polo Club, and near La Quinta Resort, and Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. Highway 111 is down the street, with Costco, Starbucks, and all the shops along 111. El Paseo is 10 minutes away. Interstate 10 is extremely close, allowing you to head to Palm Springs and other Coachella Valley destinations quickly.

GUEST ACCESS-
Guests have access to the entire home. The rental is accessible using a keyless system that allows entry into the home through your entire stay. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier so that you can start your vacation as soon as possible!

CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
YES, hot tub heat is complimentary, the pool is 50 per day to heat to 88 degrees (only needed October-May) Summer months the pool sits from 85-95 degrees.


WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is after _4pm local time, and check out is _11am. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation.  There is no extra fee for early check in, or, late check out (If we can accommodate your request, we most certainly will!)
 
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
Our homes are keyless entry, we issue a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation.
 
DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
Cleaning is performed at the end of your stay. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.
 
CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
 
DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
No we do not.  Our home has noise limit requirements set by the city.  We do recommend bringing your own Bluetooth speaker to enjoy!
 
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
No cats, certain non-shedding hypoallergenic dogs 25 pounds or less will be considered at an additional fee.

Very responsive host. Fun game room and games, pool and hot tub were great. Enough space for all 11 of us.

We had a wonderful time at The Fun House! The pool and hot tub were a perfect size and very kid and adult friendly. The family room was wonderful for movie nights and welcoming in the new year together. The beds were comfy and encouraged sleeping in. And the biggest hit was the game room - there was something for everyone! The hosts were super responsive in case of questions or issues, too. We’ll be back!

Highly recommend especially if you are traveling with kids. One of the rare listing that the place is actually better than the pictures.

Perfect for a large group. We had so much fun. The house is perfect for entertainment. Gorgeous house.

Was a good stay overall, though we had last minute COVID to navigate and had to miss some nights. I would recommend this place with a full party looking to maximize the sleeping arrangements. In our case we didn't have enough people to justify the relatively high cost per family, but maybe with 1 or 2 additional families it would make more sense. 

The pictured amenities were accurate, and if the games are really a big sell for you this might be a great place; we most enjoyed the pool table.

While the hosts are great and generally on top of communication, there were several small inconveniences during our stay that might have been better managed: broken dryer, one of the thermostats was not working, the power went out, and some pool heating issues.

THE PARTIES. This Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) made on {{reservation_date}} between the following:

THE PREMISES. The Host agrees to lease the described property below to the Guest, and the Guest agrees to rent from the Host:

Hereinafter known as the “Premises.”
&nbsp;
LEASE TERM. The Guest shall be allowed to occupy the Premises starting {{checkin_date}} from {{checkin_time}} and ending {{checkout_date}} at {{checkout_time}} (“Lease Term”).
QUIET HOURS. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM each night and continue until 8am. Quiet hours consist of no music, audible devices and keeping all audio at a minimum level (60 decibles) out of respect for the surrounding residents. Daytime from 8am until 10pm has a 70 decible limit. If security is called and you are found to be in violation of the noise ordinance, you are subject to the fine they impose, which can reach up to $3,000.&nbsp;
PARKING: You are allowed 1 street parking spot (La Quinta only). Any fines/ticket assessed by the HOA for illegal parking and/or speeding with be taken out of the deposit
RULES FOR POOL (If Applicable): 1. Absolutely no diving or jumping into pool. Pool depth ranges from 3-5’ max in depth and seriously harm could come from jumping, diving, or flipping. 2. Children must not be left unattended in the backyard. 3. No glass around pool – non glass drinkware and dishes can be found on property. RELEASE &amp; WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT You understand that you accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming and all accidents that may happen on the property and hold the owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers with swimming and may present a danger to adults who consume medication, alcohol, or drugs and children who are not carefully supervised. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against the owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, exposure to any of our plants that can be poisonous if eaten, or any other activities on the property. Renter shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the property owner, its respective affiliates and partners from and against all demands, suits, judgments, settlements, claims, damages to persons and/or property, fines, liens, losses, and other liabilities, including attorneys' fees arising out of or in any way related to your stay in our property and its surrounding land including claims for loss or damage to any property or for death or injury to any individual. owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to the property.&nbsp;
OCCUPANTS. The total number of individuals staying on the Premises during the Lease Term shall be a total of {{number_of_guests}} guests.
If more than the authorized number of guests listed above are found on the Premises, this Agreement will be subject to termination by the Host.
BOOKING FEES. The Guest shall pay the Host the amount as detailed during the booking process.
UTILITIES. The Host shall be responsible for all utilities and services to the Premises EXCEPT for the following: None.
SECURITY DEPOSIT. The Guest shall be obligated to pay the following amounts upon the execution of this Agreement: $1000
Security Deposit amount as detailed in the booking process. The Security Deposit is for the faithful performance of the Guest under the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Guest must pay the Security Deposit at the execution of this Agreement. The Security Deposit shall be returned to the Guest within the State's requirements after the end of the Lease Term less any itemized deductions. This Security Deposit shall not be credited towards any Rent unless the Host gives their written consent. Security Deposit may be held for security violations, damage to property, damage to personal items and fines incurred while on premises.
&nbsp;PETS. The Host does not allow pets: There are no pets allowed on the Premises. If the Guest is found to have pets on the Premises, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited.
SMOKING POLICY. Smoking on the Premises is prohibited. Fines may be assessed or taken from deposit.

SUBLETTING. The guest does not have the right to sublet the Premises.
INSPECTION. The Host has the right to inspect the Premises with prior notice as in accordance with State law. Should the Guest violate any of the terms of this Agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately in accordance with State law. The Guest waives all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Guest shall vacate the Premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS. The Guest shall maintain the Premises in a good, clean, and ready-to-rent condition and use the Premises only in a careful and lawful manner. The Guest shall leave the Premises in a ready to rent condition at the expiration of this Agreement, defined by the Host as being immediately habitable by the next Guest. The Guest shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the Premises be left in a lesser condition. The Guest agrees that the Host shall deduct costs of said services from any Security Deposit prior to a refund if Guest causes damage to the Premises or its furnishings.
TRASH. The Guests shall dispose of all waste material generated during the Lease Term under the strict instruction and direction of the Host.&nbsp;&nbsp;
QUIET ENJOYMENT. Quiet enjoyment hours are from 10PM to 8AM. There may not be any music or audible devices during this timeframe. The Guest, along with neighbors, shall enjoy each other’s company in a quiet and respectful manner to each other’s enjoyment. The Guest is expected to behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors with any residents of the immediate area. Creating a disturbance of the area by large gatherings or parties shall be grounds for immediate termination of this Agreement.
HOST’S LIABILITY. The Guest and any of their guests hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the Premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. The Guest expressly recognizes that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Host may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Guest and that Guest should purchase their own insurance for their guests if such coverage is desired.
ATTORNEY’S FEES. The Guest agrees to pay all reasonable costs, attorney's fees, and expenses that shall be made or incurred by the Host enforcing this agreement.
&nbsp;USE OF PREMISES. The Guest shall use the Premises for residential use only. The Guest is not authorized to sell products or services on the Premises or conduct any commercial activity.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. The Guest shall use the Premises for legal purposes only. Any other such use that includes but is not limited to illicit drug use, verbal or physical abuse of any person or illegal sexual behavior shall cause immediate termination of this Agreement with no refund of pre-paid Rent.
POSSESSIONS. Any personal items or possessions that are left on the Premises are not the responsibility of the Host. The Host shall make every reasonable effort to return the item to the Guest. If claims are not made within the State’s required time period or two (2) weeks, whichever is shorter, the Host shall be able to keep such items to sell or for personal use.
GOVERNING LAW. This Agreement shall be governed and subject to the laws located in the jurisdiction of Premise’s location.
