The Space:
Step into Whispering Oaks Retreat, where modern minimalism meets relaxed luxury. The spacious living room features a soft, linen-toned couch that seats 3–5, a 55” Smart TV, and upscale décor that makes you feel right at home.

Cook up something special in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, stove, freezer, Keurig coffee maker, and kitchenette essentials. Share meals or game night laughs around the large dining table with seating for 8.

With 5 beautifully designed bedrooms (1 king and 4 queens—including a queen air mattress with headboard) and 2 full bathrooms with showers, there's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and recharge.

Step outside to enjoy the private backyard patio—perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. You’ll have garage parking for 3 cars, plus free street parking available.

Guests have full, private access to the entire home—including all 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the living room, kitchen, dining area, and backyard patio. You’ll also have access to garage parking for up to 3 vehicles, plus free street parking. Whether you're staying for a weekend or a few weeks, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable, seamless stay.

Whispering Oaks Retreat is located in Forest Park, a welcoming and walkable neighborhood known for its tree-lined streets, charming local shops, and great dining options. Just minutes from Oak Park and an easy drive or train ride into downtown Chicago, you’re perfectly positioned to explore the city while enjoying the quiet comfort of the suburbs. Coffee shops, parks, and hidden gems are all nearby—your relaxing adventure starts here!

Transit:
Getting around is a breeze from Whispering Oaks Retreat! You’re just minutes from I-290, making downtown Chicago easily accessible by car in about 20 minutes. Prefer public transit? The Blue Line CTA train and Metra are nearby, offering quick and reliable options for getting into the city or exploring Oak Park and surrounding areas. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are also readily available. Garage and free street parking make coming and going stress-free.

Must be 25+ to book. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.

- No parties or events allowed unless we have been informed.
- We do not accommodate reservations for 2 or less and reserve the right to cancel. 
- No smoking allowed inside or outside. Fines for violation are $500 for inside & $250 if caught smoking outside. 
- No animals/ pets allowed without prior disclosure 
- Suitable for toddlers and children under 12.
- No unregistered guests allowed. $25/person per night.
- All guests must be accounted for prior to check-in.
- Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
- Please respect the noise curfew.
- Please turn off the AC/Heating when you go out.
- Please respect check-in and check-out times.
- Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee.
- Please take care of the furnishings. You may have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.
- Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
- Please do your dishes.
- Please take the trash out before you leave.
- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

Any unapproved additional overnight guests must pay the extra person fee outlined on my profile. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors are unacceptable and will result in forfeiture of your deposit and early cancellation of your reservations.
• No shoes inside the house. Please remove shoes upon arrival
• Please ensure you have left the premises and by the agreed-upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.
• No smoking (of anything) inside the home. If you have the need to smoke, please step outside and away from all doors. Please do not throw your cigarette but on the ground. If caught smoking inside the unit, the host will charge guests will forfeit their deposit plus the cleaning fee to restore the unit.
• Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.
• Pets are not allowed at the property unless previously approved and the pet fee paid. $60/pet
You may be asked for additional forms of valid ID after booking. 
• Please return home in the state that it was given to you. The cleaning fee is for a cleaning service to wash and change sheets, and light cleaning for the next guest.
Excessive cleaning needed to be deducted from your deposit... If the house is left in a messy state, we will charge $100 for every extra hour of cleaning required.
• If you break or damage something, please notify me ASAP. You should find a like replacement vs paying for replacement and services fee at min $65 per item needing replacement, this includes all kitchen wear. If needed I will arrange for the item (s) to be replaced or repaired at your expense.

The home is equipped with smart home technology. DO NOT TOUCH OR UNPLUG.

If there is a malfunction in the system due to an item being unplugged or moved by a guest a service technician will be contacted and you will be charged a fee for the service call.

Please ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the home as you are responsible for all and any damage or missing items.

The home must be clean before departing as the cleaning service is only to get the home back to a rentable ready condition.

Please remove all trash from Kitchen and place it in the trash can directly outside of the home.

There are 2 garage spaces. Free street parking is available. Please follow the street signs or the City will ticket you.

When you make a reservation with us, you are agreeing to all of the above House Rules.
