Staying north of Hanalei was magic!
I have not been to Kauai in January before and honestly, it wasn't the best month. Nobody's fault, but it was super windy and the water was rough. The power went out for awhile which was inconvenient of course. The place itself is quite remote. It is not luxurious but it was simply ok.
