LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, SHUMONT LAKE, LAKE LANIER, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. The cabin was excellent! It was clean and comfy and was a great stay that felt like home away from home. Everything necessary was there and its location was close to the things to do in the area.

Jaw dropping house for an affordable rate. Has incredible mountain views. Close to fun things to explore. Right now everything is temporarily closed due to Hurricane Helene but great place to just sit outside for the weekend. Definitely plan to bring my immediate family here. Place was clean and had plenty of starter items
