Ian and Yvonne left corporate jobs in Canada in 1992 to become the innkeepers at the White Oak Inn. Yvonne's passion for cooking, and Ian's background in sales and PR and regarious nature made innkeeping a natural match. Ian has also been a professional drummer and continues to pursue his love of music by playing with local bands whenever he can, and at the inn's annual "Oakstock" weekend of fun, food and music.
